The Chief Executive will visit Portugal from April 18 to 22, where he will meet with the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, Prime Minister António Costa and Foreign Minister João Gomes Cravinho.
The Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Raimundo do Rosário, will accompany Ho Iat Seng on the official trip to Lisbon, which should also include meetings with China’s ambassador in Lisbon and with Macau scholars studying in Lisbon.

The Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute is organising a delegation of businesspeople, which leaves for Lisbon on 16 April. TDM-Radio Macau knows that about 40 businessmen should participate in this mission. Visits to several Portuguese companies are planned.

One of the points of the Chief Executive’s visit is the dissemination of the Greater Bay’s potential, since the Macau Government is keen to attract investment to the Deepening Cooperation Zone in Hengqing.
A reception chaired by the Chief Executive is scheduled for 19 April, which will be attended by Ho Iat Seng’s entourage, the delegation’s businessmen, personalities linked to Macau and Portuguese guests. The event will include a presentation of Macau and Hengqing.

Praça do Comércio, in Lisbon, will be the stage for an event promoting Macau tourism between April 15 and 22. In addition to the Macau Government Tourist Office, the six gaming operators and the Cultural Affairs Bureau will be represented, as already reported by TDM Rádio Macau. During this week a light and image show about Macau is scheduled on the facades of the Commerce Square, with four presentations per night. The Tourist Bureau will also organize a presentation session with Portuguese and Macau tour operators.
