The Macau Scientific and Cultural Centre’s Spring Conferences, now in their second edition, will begin tomorrow, bringing together virtually the entire scientific and intellectual community of the country dedicated to Asian Studies. The Conferences, with free entry, take place throughout the month of March and are organized by themes:
- Spring Conference / Macau (days 3 and 4);
- Spring Conference / China (from the 6th to the 11th);
- Spring Conference / Asia (from the 20th to the 25th).
The opening session will take place on Friday 3 March at 11am, with the presence of the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Elvira Fortunato; the President of the Foundation for Science and Technology, Madalena Alves; the Chinese Ambassador to Portugal, Zhao Bentang; and the Head of the Macau Economic and Trade Delegation, Lúcia Abrantes dos Santos.
