Ambassador Paulo Jorge Nascimento wants the Chinese belt and route initiative to reach Portugal, probably Sines. The idea was defended in the interview to TDM’s Portuguese channels.

Portuguese companies should seek to have a presence in China in cities or regions and not look at China as a whole because of size. Portugal is also negotiating the entry of new Portuguese products in China, said Paulo Jorge Nascimento.
