As part of its commitment to improving service delivery, the Consulate General of Portugal in Guangzhou is pleased to announce that, from December 2, 2024, its Visa Application Centres operated by «VFS Global» will also start receiving applications for Schengen visas without prior appointment, for Frequent Travellers only.

Eligible for this new service are applicants who have used:

• Three visas in any of Schengen countries within the previous 2 years; or

• A 1-year multiple-entry visa in any of Schengen countries within the previous 2 years; or

• A 2-year multiple-entry visa in any of Schengen countries within the previous 3 years.

Appointments are still encouraged and applicants with appointments will take precedence over “walk-ins” at the counters.
