BNU with first quarter profits of 122 million

The Banco Nacional Ultramarino closed the first quarter of 2023 with profits of 122 million patacas, according to TDM-Radio Macau. This result exceeds the issuing bank’s expectations, which in 2022 had recorded profits of 322 million patacas.
According to our sources, the first quarter results “reflect the recovery of Macau’s economy and the success of BNU’s strategy for the local market and in supporting the policy of rapprochement with the Portuguese-speaking countries and the Greater Bay Area.
