We are returning to the Salão Preto e Prata, Casino Estoril, on the 5th of November for the 9th edition of the biggest celebration of the bilateral relations, the Portugal-China Gala.
In the year that marks the 45th Anniversary of the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between both countries, we focus on “Dialogue and Economic Growth” as fundamental vectors of the relationship between states-institutions-companies-people.
In this sense, the Gala’s preliminary program is differentiated by the different moments of dialogue and information sharing:
- Networking Cocktail: Contact and interaction with the main actors in the bilateral context;
- Keynote Speaker: Pascal Coppens, sinologist, technology entrepreneur, author and an amazing keynote speaker who has lived and worked in China and Silicon Valley for over 20 years.
- Gala Dinner: Moment of celebration;
- Business Merit Awards: Distinction for entities that made their contribution to strengthen economic and commercial relations;
- Speech by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Portugal, Zhao Bentang;
- Speech by the Secretary of State for Economy, João Rui Ferreira.
As is tradition, we will count on the presence of high-profile institutional figures, as well as the main business representatives from the bilateral universe, gathered to celebrate the history, friendship and great potential of the Portugal-China economic and commercial relationship.
