Conference “Shared Grand Market – Export to China”

Conference “Shared Grand Market – Export to China”
Date: 24 November, 2026 up until 24 November, 2026

On 24 November 2026, the conference “Shared Grand Market – Export to China” will take place in Lisbon, jointly organised by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Economy and Territorial Cohesion of Portugal.

Aiming to promote high-quality development of economic and trade relations between China and Portugal, the conference seeks to demonstrate China’s confidence and determination to proactively expand imports, showcase the potential of its vast market, help Portuguese companies identify and seize business opportunities in the Chinese market in a more targeted way, and deepen industrial and commercial cooperation between the two countries.

The conference is co-promoted by the Embassy of China in Portugal and the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao). Its executive entities are the Department of Trade Development of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and AICEP – Portuguese Trade and Investment Agency. It is co-organised by the CCILC – Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Association of Chinese Societies in Portugal, the Association of Portuguese-Chinese Merchants and Industrialists, and the Association of Chinese Enterprises in Macao.

This is an event of high institutional relevance, marked by the visit to Portugal of the No. 2 official of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. CCILC participates as co-organiser and is associated with the dissemination of this initiative.

The target audience includes Portuguese companies that export or intend to export to China — goods such as agricultural products, wine, food and industrial products, and services such as tourism, culture, education and technology —, companies with Chinese capital in Portugal and companies from both countries interested in bilateral investment, service providers supporting economic and trade cooperation between China and Portugal (in finance, legal services, logistics and supply chain), as well as non-governmental trade and investment promotion organisations and experts and academics in China-Portugal economic and trade relations.
