CCILC welcomes ABM delegation

Today, CCILC welcomed an 11-member delegation from the Macau Banking Association (ABM), as part of a 5-day business visit to Portugal.

The meeting seeked to present recent developments in Macau’s financial industry and explore opportunities for cooperation between financial institutions and companies in Portugal and Macau, as well as to sign a memorandum of understanding between ABM and CCILC to boost business between China and the PALOPS, using Macau as a platform for this purpose.

António Noronha, Chairman of the Board of CCILC in representation of Fidelidade, welcomed the ABM group, where the meeting took place.

The delegation was led by Hang Kun Lau, Executive Director of the Board of Directors of the Monetary Authority of Macau, and also included Ip Sio Kai, Chairman of ABM and Carlos Cid Alvares, CEO of Banco Nacional Ultramarino. S.A. and President Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC) – Macau Delegation.
