The Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC) informs about the Webinar “Best Health Practices to Overcome the Pandemic” which will take place on May 14, 2020 from 09:30am to 10:30am GMT.

An event organised by The Portugal-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHKCCI), a CCILC partner, in cooperation with the Portuguese Association of Public Health Doctors, Invest HK and Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office.

As confirmed speakers:

  • Mr. André Peralta-Santos, Portuguese medical doctor and public health specialist with eight years of professional experience in the area of Public Health and Health Policy. He has worked for international organisations, such as the WHO and the European Commission, and has been an advisor to various national governments. Awarded with a Fulbright Scholarship for a Ph.D. at the University of Washington to focus on health policies’ impact on population health trajectories. Mr. Peralta-Santos is a board member of the Portuguese Association of Public Health Doctors.
  • Mr. Paul Leung, joined the Government of Hong Kong in 1993.  For the first 14 years was member of the Trade Officer Grade in the Trade and Industry Department of Hong Kong dealing with Hong Kong’s trade relations on bilateral, regional and international fronts including the World Trade Organization. Since 2007, has been working in the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices located in Berlin, Singapore, London and Brussels, representing the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on all matters related to Hong Kong.  Since January 2020, he has been the acting Deputy Representative of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, the official representation of HKSAR to the European Union and 15 countries, located in Brussels.
