China and the Portuguese Speaking Countries in World Trade: Commerce, Tourism, Cooperation and Development

The Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC) informs about the course “China and the Portuguese Speaking Countries in World Trade: Commerce, Tourism, Cooperation and Development”, at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC). The course will study the relationship between China and the lusophone countries, with a focus on the business cultural dimension, in intercultural management and commercial relations.

The course will take place every friday afternoon, between the end of September and December, and between Februart and May (being possible to attend just one of both semesters).

Besides the teaching of basic notions of Chinese, the course includes four seminars organized in accordance with the modules taught by the best national and international experts in this area. The political system in China, the CPLP, the EU, tourism and investment, and commercial relations between China and the lusophone countries, as well as the chinese initiative “Belt and Road” will be discussed during the course.

The course is mainly targeted for current and future diplomats, politicians, journalists, lawyers, as well as for entrepreneurs and investors, whose work is related to the commercial relations between China and the european and lusophone countries.
